2019 represented the fifth year of ABP’s ongoing sponsorship of the Western District Health Services Fun Run. The aim of this community event is to promote local health and fitness, with resulting funds donated to various health services. In 2019 the beneficiary was the Hamilton Base Hospital, located in the Green Triangle district, enabling the purchase of vital equipment. Previous funds have been used for the redevelopment of cancer treatment facilities, a Gorilla Steriliser for surgical equipment, and the acquisition of other apparatus required by the hospital and aged care facility.
