During the winter of 2021, students from Casterton Secondary College participated in ABP’s native species revegetation program. Under the guidance of ABP’s Environmental Forester, students assisted with mechanical and hand planting, direct seeding, and guarding of seedlings. As part of this program, students learned more about the critical role native species play in improving biodiversity and raising awareness of the various career options available within forestry.
